Guerilla Open Access Manifesto
Information is power. But like all power, there are those who want to keep it for themselves. The world’s entire scientific and cultural heritage, published over centuries in books and journals, is increasingly being digitized and locked up by a handful of private corporations. Want to read the papers featuring the most famous results of the sciences? You’ll need to send enormous amounts to publishers like Reed Elsevier. Continue reading

You know that like attracts like, right? So here’s the deal: Positive people are drawn to positive energy; negative people are drawn to negative energy.
We tend to perceive negative energy as something other people have. Sure, sometimes we feel negative – as in, “go away and leave me alone, world!” but did you know that negativity can be so ingrained in you that it goes unnoticed?
That’s because negativity sometimes wears a disguise called ‘reality’. It’s easy to rationalise that you’re ‘just being realistic’ in not daring to act on a dream – and believe it! Continue reading

The Awakening of Gaia is a film meant to widen the perspective of the viewer in such a way that it may inspire the will to change. It covers how our civilization is lost in apathy and material greed, cut off from spirit, cut off from the Earth . It shows how the Earth is a living organism and how we are all connected to it and every living thing.
Highly recommended… enjoy 🙂

12 ways to simplify your life and set your spirit free!
By Dr. Wayne W. Dyer
FOR A MOMENT, let’s imagine what it would be like to be fully alive without a physical shell or any of the stuff we need and desire for maintaining life on Earth. We’d have a mental energy that allowed us to move forward or backward, up or down, instantly creating whatever we desired. We’d be free to wallow in an exquisite existence without time or space as we know it. We’d be in a state of pure bliss, in love with everything and everyone. We’d have no duties or bills to tend to, no fear of losing anything, no one judging us, no possessions to insure, no demands on our time, and no goals to achieve.
What we’re envisioning is actually the world of Spirit, which we experienced before we came here and will return to when we shed our body (or as William Butler Yeats poetically called it, our “tattered coat upon a stick”).
Inspiration is a state of being here now in this material world, while at the same time reconnecting to our spiritual origins. In order to be receptive to inspiration, we need to eliminate the ego clutter that accumulates all too easily for most of us—after all, if we’re preoccupied with events and activities that have nothing to do with inspiration, we’re unlikely to notice its summons. So in order to achieve a reunion with our ultimate calling, we need to emulate the clear, uncomplicated world of Spirit. Continue reading

Once you start giving your body the proper nutrients it needs, the cleansing process initiates. Your physical body gets rid of the toxins, your brain can de-program itself and your way of thinking start shifting. You begin to finally be able to make some small steps into free-thinking direction.
This is a very good documentary, called ‘Owned and Operated‘, to get you started on your new path. It was able to open a few more eyes and help to uncover the illusion of freedom and democracy we live in…
Most of us, especially those who practise yoga or meditation, are familiar with terms such as ‘chakra’ or ‘energy’. ‘Chakra’ is a Sanskrit word which means ‘wheel’ or ‘spinning vortex’ of energy. The energy can be collected from several different sources and levels of vibrations, including colour, that are utilised in various parts of the body. Throughout our body we have main energy centers, represented by 7 major chakras, which are connected to the main vital organs or glands that affect other body parts.
The seven main chakra centers are aligned along our spinal column. If there are disturbances on any level, our body will be showing signs of inbalance, as each chakra is not only associated with our physical health, but also controls aspects connected to our emotional, mental and belief systems. In order for us to become fully self-realised and in harmony with our physical and spiritual nature our denser lower energies need to be harmonised with the lighter energies of the upper centers.
Changing your diet it’s just one, usually done first, aspect of your lifestyle switch.
